CBD is illegal in Bahrain. Law No. 15 of 2007 does not exempt cannabidiol from its narcotics schedules, and the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has not registered any CBD-containing medicine, including Epidyolex.
CBD oils, tinctures, gummies, vapes, and cosmetics are routinely seized by Bahrain Customs at Bahrain International Airport. The U.S. Department of Commerce's Bahrain prohibited imports guidance and NHRA pharmaceutical rules treat any cannabis-derived product as a controlled narcotic regardless of THC content.
