Why CannabisRegulations.ai

A niche this sharp doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Most cannabis media sells you a general industry audience. This is a compliance audience — people with a specific legal question, in a specific jurisdiction, at the moment they need an answer.

Hyper-niche authority

100% focused on cannabis and hemp regulatory compliance. Nearly every visitor is an industry professional or decision-maker — attorneys, operators, regulators, brand executives. Not casual readers.

Built on primary sources

Statute, rulemaking, enforcement actions and agency guidance across 50+ U.S. and international jurisdictions — tracked and updated as the law changes, not written once and left to rot.

Endemic by nature

The articles already surface specific product categories, compounds and brands. The commercial demand is already in the content — the sponsor simply owns the context.

The AI advantage

When professionals ask an AI what’s legal, this is one of the sources it answers from.

Compliance research has quietly moved. Instead of opening ten tabs, professionals now ask an assistant — and the assistant answers from the sources it trusts. CannabisRegulations.ai is actively cited by the major assistants on cannabis and hemp regulatory questions, which means a placement here does something a normal ad buy cannot: it puts your brand inside the generated answer, not just next to a search result.

This is the channel most cannabis advertisers have no way to buy into yet. Guest posts and native placements are the way in — published, indexed, and part of the source material assistants draw on.
The platform

Every content channel you can own.

Nine distinct channels across the property — each one a different buying moment, each one available as a named, exclusive placement. Inventory is intentionally limited so advertisers never compete inside the same slot.

State database

U.S. State Legality Database

Five compound pages for every U.S. state — THCA, Delta-8, Delta-9, Delta-10 and HHC — each answering “is it legal in my state?” at the exact moment someone needs to know. Fed by the interactive state map and the compound index.

Typical advertisers: state cannabis law firms, licensing and compliance consultants, in-state CPAs
Own it: State exclusive sponsor card — one advertiser per state, on all five of that state’s pages.
Country database

International Country Database

Cannabis and hemp law across 190+ jurisdictions — import and export, possession, travel and global legality. The reference layer for anyone operating or shipping across borders.

Typical advertisers: seed banks, international CBD brands, cannabis tourism, cross-border logistics
Own it: Category exclusive banner, run-of-site placement, guest posts.
Travel & shipping

Travel, Shipping & PACT Cluster

TSA rules, airport reality checks, interstate shipping and PACT Act compliance — read mid-trip and mid-shipment, when the decision is already in motion and the reader needs an answer now.

Typical advertisers: THC beverage and travel-gear brands, shipping and logistics compliance providers
Own it: Category exclusive — every banner slot in the cluster.
Compound index

Compound Legality Index

The cross-reference layer for THCA, Delta-8, Delta-9, Delta-10, HHC and marijuana — what each compound is, how it is made, and where it stands. Educational intent, upstream of a purchase decision.

Typical advertisers: lab testing, packaging suppliers, extractors and manufacturers
Own it: Branded-post sponsorship, link insertion.
Editorial

Guides & Analysis

Long-form guides on enforcement actions, state rulemaking, licensing, SOPs and operations — auto-filed into topic, cannabinoid, audience and location hubs, so every article surfaces in more than one place.

Typical advertisers: compliance SaaS, consultants, service providers with real expertise to show
Own it: Guest post, link insertion, in-content banner.
News hubs

Location News Hubs

Live enforcement actions and regulatory change organised by market — from California to Spain. Where operators check what changed this week in the places they actually do business.

Typical advertisers: multi-market operators, regional law firms, government-affairs consultancies
Own it: Run-of-site banner, category exclusive.
Newsletter

The Regulator Brief

A consented, product-qualified list — most subscribers used the AI compliance tool, created an account and opted in. Not a bought list. A meaningful share are active or former regulators subscribing from .gov addresses.

Typical advertisers: category leaders, compliance platforms, anyone selling to counsel and regulators
Own it: Presenting sponsor, sponsor spotlight, mid-newsletter banner, dedicated send.
Flagship

Homepage & AI Compliance Tool

The two flagship placements — the homepage top banner, and the sponsor strip in the header of every AI compliance tool session. The most active, highest-consideration audience on the property.

Typical advertisers: compliance SaaS, MSOs and category leaders that want the whole audience
Own it: Top banner + AI-tool header sponsor.
Directories

Attorney & B2B Directories

Flat-fee listings in the cannabis lawyer directory and the B2B vendor directory — with lead routing into your category from every state legality page on the site.

Typical advertisers: cannabis attorneys, licensing consultants, vetted B2B service providers
Own it: Attorney listing, B2B and vendor listing.

Where most advertisers start

Three ways in.

Use these as entry points, then customise by state, article cluster, category, newsletter placement or annual partnership. Most partnerships here started as a custom ask.

Own a state

Exclusive sponsor card across a state’s legality pages, plus a monthly newsletter banner

Best for law firms and compliance providers that want a defensible, state-specific lead source no competitor can buy their way into.

Check availability

Own a category

A branded post in a high-intent cluster, plus Presenting Sponsor for a month

Best for beverage, travel, shipping and consumer brands that map cleanly onto specific articles readers are already searching for.

Check availability

Become a Founding Partner

Annual wall placement plus a quarterly Sponsor Spotlight

Best for category leaders that want year-round visibility, a high-authority backlink, and association with the source professionals actually cite.

Check availability
Before you ask

The questions advertisers ask first.

How much does it cost?
Rates depend on the placement, the state or cluster you want, and the term. There are entry points that suit a modest monthly budget and flagship placements that do not. Request the media kit and you will get the full rate card, along with what is actually still available — usually the same day.
Are the links dofollow and permanent?
Yes. Guest posts include contextual dofollow links and link insertions include one. Placement is permanent — we do not unpublish articles or switch links to nofollow later.
What does “exclusive” actually mean?
One advertiser per state, per category cluster, and per newsletter Presenting Sponsor slot. If you own Texas, no competing firm appears on any of the Texas compound pages for the length of your term. Slots are first come.
How is billing structured?
Display and sponsorship placements are a flat monthly fee — no per-lead, per-click or per-impression billing. Guest posts and link insertions are one-time. Rates are locked for twelve months from the date you book, even as reach grows.
What content do you not accept?
All content is subject to editorial review. We do not accept unrelated, gambling or adult niches. Payment is required before publication. We would rather turn down a placement than run something that undermines the site’s credibility with the audience you are trying to reach.
Can I pick the exact article my banner or link goes into?
Yes. Branded-post sponsorships and link insertions are priced by the article you choose, and you can select from the live inventory — or we will recommend the best topical fit for what you sell.
Is the newsletter list consented?
Yes. Most subscribers used the AI compliance tool, created an account and opted in. It is not a purchased list, and it is never rented out.
