Burundi is not party to any low-THC industrial-hemp exemption regime. Hemp seed, fibre, and consumer goods are barred from the domestic market. Reform discussion has not advanced through the National Assembly. The Burundian Coffee Board and OCIBU regulate the country's principal cash crops; no equivalent body exists for hemp.
