CBD is illegal in Grenada outside narrow prescription channels. The Drug Abuse (Prevention and Control) Act and the Pharmacy Act do not distinguish CBD from cannabis, and the Ministry of Health, Wellness, Religious Affairs, and Social Security has not gazetted a regulation exempting low-THC hemp derivatives.
Retail sale of CBD oils, gummies, balms, and beverages is not authorized; products sold at tourist-area pharmacies in Grand Anse or St. George's typically violate the law and are subject to seizure. The Pharmacy Council of Grenada has approved isolated compassionate-use imports of Epidiolex (cannabidiol oral solution) for treatment-resistant epilepsy, but each shipment requires a controlled-substance import permit signed by the Chief Medical Officer. Travelers should not assume a U.S. or U.K. CBD product is lawful at Maurice Bishop arrivals.
