CBD is illegal in Guinea-Bissau. Law No. 5/2010 treats all cannabis derivatives as controlled substances without a THC threshold that would exempt cannabidiol. The Direccao-Geral dos Medicamentos has not authorised any CBD-containing pharmaceutical, food supplement, or cosmetic, and no marketing authorisation procedure for cannabinoid products exists under the country's medicines law (Lei do Medicamento).
Pharmacies in Bissau and the regional capitals do not stock CBD products. Importation of CBD oils, tinctures, capsules, or topicals through customs is treated as a narcotic offence regardless of the product's status in the country of origin. There is no industrial-hemp carve-out.
