CBD is illegal in Guinea. Law L/2016/057/AN treats cannabidiol derivatives as stupefiants without a THC threshold that exempts CBD products. The Direction Nationale de la Pharmacie et du Medicament (DNPM), within the Ministere de la Sante, has not issued a marketing authorisation for any CBD pharmaceutical, supplement, or cosmetic product.
Pharmacies in Conakry, Kankan, and Nzerekore do not stock CBD oils, tinctures, capsules, or topicals. Travelers carrying CBD products through Conakry International Airport risk seizure and prosecution under the 2016 Code, regardless of the product's legality in the country of origin. There is no industrial hemp-derived CBD exemption.
