CBD is illegal in Jordan. The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) does not register CBD products, and Law No. 23 of 2016 treats all cannabis derivatives uniformly without recognizing a hemp-CBD threshold.
No THC limit creates legality under Jordanian law; CBD oils, capsules, gummies, and topicals are treated as controlled substances. Customs at Queen Alia International Airport seize CBD products from arriving travelers, and the AND can refer cases for criminal prosecution. Pharmacies under the Jordan Pharmacists Association do not stock CBD; foreign prescriptions including Epidiolex are not honored without JFDA pre-authorization, which has not been documented as granted for recreational or general wellness use. The Royal Medical Services apply the same rules.
