CBD is illegal in Seychelles for general retail. The Misuse of Drugs Act 2016 defines cannabis to include any preparation containing tetrahydrocannabinol, and the Health Care Agency has not authorized any cannabidiol product under the Medicines Act 2018.
Imports of CBD oils, gummies, and cosmetics via SeyPost or courier services are routinely held by Customs and the ANB. The Health Care Agency Drug Regulatory Section has not registered Epidyolex or Sativex, and no compassionate-use pathway exists. Travelers carrying CBD must be able to produce a Health Care Agency import permit; none have been issued for over-the-counter CBD.
