Automate Compliance TodayCannabis was removed from Thailand's narcotics schedules in June 2022, and the June 2025 re-restriction declared only cannabis flower a controlled herb under the Protection and Promotion of Thai Traditional Medicine Knowledge Act B.E. 2542 (1999), leaving seeds, leaves, stems and roots outside control. Seeds may therefore be sold, bought and gifted domestically, though import or export of propagating material requires Department of Agriculture permission and growers must still register cultivation.
