Colorado marijuana rule revisions and new fees take effect November 1, 2026
Colorado's State Licensing Authority adopted revised marijuana rules on September 10, 2026, and the Marijuana Enforcement Division says they took effect on November 1, 2026. The revisions apply to businesses licensed under the Colorado Marijuana Code, and a new fee schedule took effect on the same day. The division has posted an unofficial copy of the rules, a redlined version and the adoption order, and says it will link the official copy once the Secretary of State publishes it. State law requires the licensing authority to review application and license fees each year so they reflect what it costs to run the program.
