Overview
Flowhub is a cannabis dispensary software company founded in Denver in 2015 by Kyle Sherman. The company says it powers more than 1,000 dispensaries that together process over $4 billion in annual sales. A 2021 report described Flowhub as Denver-based.
The core product is Maui, a cloud-based point of sale that runs on Mac and Windows computers and works with a range of retail hardware. Flowhub positions Maui for operators with one store or 100. Two companion mobile apps run on iOS or come preloaded on Flowhub's NUG device: Greet scans customer IDs to add shoppers to the POS queue, and Stash supports batch barcode scanning for audits and bulk transfers of product between locations.
On compliance, Flowhub says it integrates with Metrc, BioTrack and other state systems. Maui includes purchase limits and age verification, and retailers can report daily sales to the state in real time or at the end of the day, depending on local requirements. Greet is designed to stop minors and people with expired or fake IDs from shopping.
Flowhub Ecommerce offers a branded online store whose inventory syncs live with POS data. Payments include a Pay by Bank (ACH) option, and the partners page lists Aeropay for ACH payments. Other listed partners include QuickBooks Online through a Racetrack connection, Headset for analytics, springbig and Alpine IQ for loyalty and CRM, and Weedmaps.
As of October 2026, the Flowhub pricing page estimates cost from the number of locations and the number of handheld NUG scanners. Customers can pay monthly under an annual agreement or prepay annually for a 10% discount, and all plans include everyday phone support. Flowhub says it can get a new store live in under nine days. The company raised a $23 million Series A led by e.ventures in 2019 and $19 million in strategic funding in 2021. Flowhub also states that data on disk is encrypted.
