Overview
Growlink makes a cultivation automation platform for commercial growers, built from sensors, controllers and its GrowlinkOS software. The company says the platform helps growers automate climate, irrigation and fertigation. Its site cites results from commercial cannabis operations using GrowlinkOS and features a craft cannabis cultivator in Woodland, California. The company operates as Growlink, Inc. and adopted the Growlink name in 2017, when it announced it was changing its name from Hydropods.
In GrowlinkOS, teams define temperature, humidity, vapor pressure deficit (VPD), CO2 and lighting targets by growth stage, and set irrigation drybacks, shot timing, EC targets and steering goals. Nutrient delivery is aligned with the crop plan and facility standards, and the software gives operators guidance on what should happen and when. Growers can turn a cultivation strategy into a Blueprint for each cultivar, room and stage, then run that standard across rooms, teams and harvests. Nova, the platform's AI feature, helps teams compare rooms, spot drift and see which decisions improved performance.
Growlink's sensors include TerraLink+, which measures volumetric water content (VWC), EC and temperature in the growing substrate, and ClimaLink, which tracks temperature, humidity, VPD, CO2 and light. The sensors page also lists Aranet wireless sensors for PAR and PPFD at the canopy and for EC and pH in nutrient solution, and a single gateway supports hundreds of sensors. The Core controller executes climate, lighting, irrigation and nutrient delivery and feeds each decision back into GrowlinkOS. It connects to equipment a facility already uses without replacing it, through BACnet, Modbus and LoRaWAN connections and an open API with REST and webhooks.
A mobile app lets users monitor alerts, room status and equipment from anywhere, and the Growlink app, listed on the Apple App Store, requires iOS 14.0 or later. As of October 2026, Growlink does not publish pricing, and its site directs prospective customers to book a demo. In August 2024, MJBizDaily reported that Casa Verde Capital led a $2 million seed round for Growlink.
