Overview
Simplifya makes regulatory and operational compliance software for licensed cannabis businesses. The company has offered compliance software since 2016 and lists its address in Lakewood, Colorado. It says its tools are used by both multi-state operators (MSOs) and smaller operators, from cultivation to retail, and some products are aimed at companies that serve the industry, such as financial institutions and insurers.
Simplifya Protect is the main suite for operators. Simplifya translates state regulations into yes-or-no audit questions organized by license type, and the company says its audit software stays current as regulations change. Users can start from ready-made audit templates and tailor them, run full-program or risk-based audits, and document corrective actions while keeping an audit history. Audits can be completed on an iPad through the iOS app, with or without WiFi.
Protect also includes state-specific SOP template packages created by license type, which Simplifya updates as regulations change and which users can customize. The SOP tool supports assigning, tracking and versioning procedures, and the manufacturing SOP templates are described as GMP-compliant. Smart Cabinet provides online document storage, and License Tracker follows any document with an expiration or renewal date.
Other products focus on research and verification. The Market Guide summarizes key cannabis topics for every state and is curated for businesses that provide services to licensed operators. RegFinder brings cannabis and hemp regulations from multiple states into one place and lets users compare them across states. Simplifya Verified checks cannabis and hemp licenses using data from the issuing state agencies and can monitor a list of licensees with a monthly status report. SCANN uses branded window decals and website widgets linked to Simplifya's license database, so enforcement teams and consumers can check a business's license status.
Simplifya cautions that a compliant point-of-sale (POS) or seed-to-sale system does not by itself make a business compliant, and positions its operational compliance tools as a separate layer. As of October 2026, it does not publish pricing; its product pages direct buyers to request a demo, and Verified subscriptions include unlimited users. In September 2025, Simplifya announced $2 million in new equity capital and said part of it was used to retire outstanding debt.
