CBD products are not authorised for general sale in Liechtenstein. While Switzerland permits CBD products containing less than 1.0% THC under Swissmedic guidance, Liechtenstein has not formally adopted the same regulatory carve-out, and the Amt fur Gesundheit treats CBD as a controlled cannabis derivative absent a Marktzulassung.
Epidyolex (cannabidiol) and Sativex (nabiximols) have not been registered with Liechtenstein health authorities, though physicians can apply for individual import authorisations through Swissmedic channels. Retail CBD products sold in St. Gallen or Feldkirch are not automatically lawful in Vaduz, and customs treatment depends on product composition and intended use.
