CBD is illegal in the Republic of the Congo. Loi 67-2011 does not exempt cannabidiol, and the Direction de la Pharmacie, du Medicament et des Laboratoires has not authorised CBD products. No low-THC threshold exists.
Pharmacies in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire do not stock CBD products. Customs at Maya-Maya International Airport seize personal-use CBD imports. The Congo-Brazzaville framework parallels that of the neighbouring DRC: strict prohibition with no carve-outs for cannabinoid wellness products.
