CBD is illegal in Tajikistan. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population has not registered any cannabidiol medicine, and the 2000 narcotics law does not exempt CBD from controlled-substance schedules.
Imports of CBD oils, tinctures, and cosmetics are blocked at Dushanbe International Airport and overland from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The Drug Control Agency treats CBD as a Schedule I substance, and travelers risk prosecution under Article 200 of the Criminal Code regardless of THC content or foreign prescriptions.
