A November 2022 amendment allows medical cannabis only through authorisation of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, not private seed purchase or home growing. Industrial hemp has been the subject of National Agency for Drug Control policy consultations, but no operational hemp seed licensing regime has been verified, so that pathway remains unclear.
