Automate Compliance TodayUnder the Solomon Islands Dangerous Drugs Act (Cap. 98), section 5 expressly provides that no person shall import or export any seed of Indian hemp, and section 8 makes growing the plant an offence. Possession of any amount can attract up to five years' imprisonment, while supply offences carry up to fourteen years. The Act contains no exemption for low-THC hemp, so hemp seed is prohibited on the same terms.
